After our successful road trip to Southern Europe last year we decided to do a road trip across America (from San Francisco to Chicago) for 3 weeks in the summer of 2007. We hired a Red Chevrolet "Chevy" Cobalt car to take us the 3000+ miles to Chicago. I'm pleased to say we returned the car in a semi-working condition to the hire company (The car ended up in 2 feet of wet sand/mud in the middle of Arizona desert - we can look back and laugh now I'm glad to say!). My brother, the woman and myself had a great adventure and we will definitely be doing another U.S. road trip in the near future!
